3. PASSION personal energy, focus, love for your brand, company and what you do will get you results... when you incorporate your business into every aspect of your life, you shine your passion and love and others will understand and also partake.
4. COMMITMENT discipline, stay on task, finish the race, get the job done... do something daily and don't let the day end until you've done what you set out to do for that day. If you commit to your business and lead by example, you will find that others will commit as well because of what they see in you.

3 Tips to Increase Your Sales

Offer your customers that choice to buy that product or a package of combined products for a certain amount of money with some type of savings or discount. Once they decide to buy, it will be easier for them to choose a product you are promoting and offering. If they want to add on, they will, without question. Produce the maximum number of sales by making their choice simple. Providing a product or package simplifies this decision for them.
2. Establish a personal connection with new, potential customers. Sure, it is easier for them to order online, but if you make their experience a more personal one, where you meet them and present your products to them, let them experience them hands on, and you get to know them, ask them questions, let them see you are listening and know that you care about their needs, they will buy and will become loyal customers. Also, personalize your packages, or promotion materials according to your market. If you make your promotions and marketing more personal, you are sure to get more interested buyers who will want to use your products for their specific needs. (Moms, business people, work force, students, Dads, realtors, doctors,)
3. Provide specific benefits about your products. Why should your customers buy your products? Why are your products better than the competition? Why will your customers benefit from buying your products? At times, you will find that the customers themselves are stating the benefits when they see how good the products are! When you talk about your products, use specific examples that will hit home with your customers. Be specific on what your products do, how they can be used, how they can improve your customers' lives or businesses. When you use specific words that appeal to whatever situation your customers are in, you will find you have established a connection and that will generate sales and keep them loyal.

Monthly Goal Setting and Planning for your Direct Sales Business
Goal setting and planning is a sure way to get your Direct Sales Business running and growing! Whether your plans be to increase sales, bookings, coaching, recruiting or team building training, specific steps are required in order to reach success. If you are struggling with developing a plan of action, ask yourself the following questions and as you answer them, you will be setting your goals and developing your plan of action! Get to it, success awaits you!
First Step: Create a personalized monthly plan with goals that will get you to increase and grow. Keep it simple, but effective!
Ask yourself these questions and set your goals accordingly.
- How much money do I want to earn this month?
- How many leads (new contacts, potential customers, potential hosts, potential recruits) do I want to gain per week? (Social Media, referrals, person to person)
- How many of those leads do I want to convert into customers, hosts, recruits? (follow up, calls, parties, demos, sponsorship interview, sponsorship layering)
- What level or promotion within my team will I qualify for this month? What are the specific ways to achieve this level (sales, recruits, training my team to reach their next level)?
Second Step: List the objectives you need to focus on to achieve the goals mentioned in the First Step. These objectives will lead you to constant daily actions and put your goals in place and in target. You need to be specific and answer the questions with reasonable numbers that you really want to achieve.
- How much will you personally sell to achieve your sales goal? (Home demos, parties, one on one, re-orders, follow up, courtesy calls, specials)...
- How can you network this month to generate more leads? (Networking Meetings, Open House Events, Fairs, Fundraisers, Personal sales and sharing.)
- What are your available dates for sponsorship meetings, host coaching, parties and demos? How am I going to follow up with customers and referrals and provide great customer service? By having a clear calendar with open dates, you will be able to see a true reflection of how much you have worked in the month. Schedule your follow up calls and customer courtesy service on your calendar.
- Are you tracking personal sales and team sales? Is your personal sales volume and your team volume where it needs to be in order to promote within your team and achieve your goal? Offer team incentives, trainings, coaching, and be in constant communication with your team, letting them know the team goal and how much is needed before month's end in order to achieve it.
Once you have done Step 1 and Step 2, you have developed a monthly plan to put into action. Congratulations. Lead by example and let your team know that you have goals set for your team and that you will be doing your part along with them in order to achieve these goals. Goal set with your team. Make vision boards. Share with your team what your expectations are and have them share with you as well. You're on your way to success! Keep developing monthly plans like this one and you are sure to see growth!

- Read all your emails/texts daily.
- Listen to your weekly team calls/watch a training video.
- Read a book about leadership, team building, sales, or motivation/inspiration.
- Learn by training your team and communicating with them daily.
- Communicate with others and share your business to gain new contacts daily.

Plan Your Work, then Work Your Plan!
Plan, Plan, Plan! Here are some thoughts on planning, the first step to succeeding!
- Plan for yourself, not for others. You can plan with others, but don't plan for them; each one of us needs to develop an action plan and execute it. Your goal and your vision is yours and as an effective leader, you need to get others to see it, plan with you and achieve! But if you don't have that plan yourself, one that you develop and implement for your own business, you won't be able to be effective.
- Keep your planning simple. Don't set yourself up for failure or negativity. Start with a simple, doable plan and then when you evaluate your results, you can add to your plan and re-structure it.
- Focus on the important priorities first. By planning simple and by prioritizing you will be more effective in achieving your success and outcomes. Prioritize what you want out of your business, if it's selling, recruiting, training and plan according to those priorities.
- Focus on one thing at a time. When you plan and prioritize, you have a visual of what you can take on. When you focus on one thing at a time you don't feel like you're doing a little bit of everything, which usually ends up in not staying on task or finishing what was originally hoped for.
- Be patient and persistent with your plan. Remember that an effective plan takes time to develop, structure, evaluate, and perfect. Don't be hard on yourself, remember that the development process takes a while because you need to know what works and can be implemented and what doesn't.
